The carbon footprint of the Lasipalatsikortteli block will be further reduced with the installation of solar panels on the roof of the Lasipalatsi building.

At the end of November, a solar power system with 224 solar panels was installed on the roof of the Lasipalatsi. The estimated annual yield of the system is 78.3 megawatt hours (MWh). This amount corresponds to an average of one month’s electricity consumption for the whole building and Amos Rex.

All the energy in Lasipalatsikortteli is green, and we wish to continue to play an active role in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly urban development.
