The Night of the Arts in Lasipalatsikortteli is a celebration of live music, poetry, art and, of course, good food and fresh drinks. Amos Rex is open until 11 PM (doors close at 10.30 PM).

Night of the Arts at Amos Rex 

In celebration of the Night of the Arts, free admission to the museum from 18-23.00. Last entry by 22.30 and visitors can stay until 23.00. 

The Night of the Arts programme includes: 

18.00 Meet the artist – Kim Simonsson talks about his art and the Moss Giants in the Lasipalatsi Square. The event is in Finnish, but we will also speak Swedish and English if needed. The tour will start from the square, near Kim Simonsson’s Wanderer artwork. 

The song of the Moss Giants – the usually so quiet Moss Giants sing at the Glass Palace Square at 18.00 and 23.00. 

Clearance sale! The Amos Rex Shop will be selling products at attractive prices from 17-23.30. The top sale will feature discontinued items and lots of other fun stuff. 

Amos Rex exhibitions: the first exhibition of works from the museum’s own collections I feel, for now, Josefina Nelimarkka: The Cloud of Un/knowing, the permanent hanging of the Sigurd Frosterus collection, and Kim Simonsson’s Moss Giants in the Lasipalatsi Square and on the Bio Rex terrace.
