Lasipalatsi BioRex, a fixture of downtown Helsinki since 1936, will start its regular cinema operations March 8. The audience will get to enjoy domestic and international quality films in the iconic movie theater.

During the renovation of Lasipalatsi BioRex, the theater’s presentation technology has been updated and improvements have been made to the acoustics and sound. Seating comfort has been enhanced by spacing out the rows of seats. All changes have been made in collaboration with the Helsinki City Museum.

Movie tickets only 6€ during opening weekend!

We celebrate the opening of Lasipalatsi BioRex from Friday to Sunday, March 8th to 10th, in the spirit of the Oscars, featuring six films with the most Academy Award nominations. In honor of the opening, all movie tickets are only 6 euros! Tickets are now on sale at BioRex’s online store and at the BioRex Kulttuurikasarmi ticket office. Please note that the Lasipalatsi BioRex movie theater has an age limit of 18 years, minors are not admitted.
