La Torrefazione opened at the same time as the adjacent Amos Rex Art Museum in 2018. During the summer season, the Lasipalatsi Torrefazione also has a large terrace with live music and the smell of charcoal-grilled burgers. La Torrefazione is at the heart of high quality coffee and

professional baristas. We know the whole story of our coffee from bean to cup. We work with Kaffa Roastery to improve the Finnish coffee culture. We find

interesting coffees from around the world and source them directly from the farmer. New coffees come in a couple of times a year to keep the beans fresh and the flavours interesting. You won’t find coffees under the La Torrefazione brand anywhere else but in our own cafés.

We offer popular breakfast sets and our chefs design the weekly changing lunch menus. The menu reflects the chef’s favourites and seasonal flavours. In the evenings, we serve delicious smaller portions with wine and coffee.
